Summerton, South Carolina should be bulldozed.

Here, I said it. Why ? Because the only reason this town exists is the I-95 going through it. I understand that while back there might have been other reasons for this towns existance, such as farming and other pastoral agricultural activities. However, as of today most of the towns revenues are derived from taxing cars traveling on the busiest US highway.

You know you are in trouble when town cops use unmarked Mustangs as primary means of transportation, offer to give you a deal once you are pulled over, and insist that the only acceptable form of payment is cash, money orders or beer. Truly disgusting. Some towns should be taken out of the map, and Summerton is one of them.
